Conservatory Guitar students participated on March 27 and 29. Their teacher, Mirtha de la Torre, says that “it was a beautiful and important experience for them.” The Conservatory Guitar Ensemble, in their first year playing as a group, won First Place—an accomplishment that makes us all, and especially Ms. De la Torre, very proud!

On March 26, 2011, our Conservatory music students participated in music competitions at the Miami-Dade  County Fair and Exposition and have once again made their teachers proud.

Conservatory piano students made their teachers, Marisol Caballero and Marlene Urbay very proud. They know how hard their students have worked throughout the year and they were very happy to see them perform so well in the competition.

All participants in the Performing Arts Instrumental Division are judged based on general music ability, preparation, interpretation, and stage presence. Performances are scheduled during Fair operating hours, March 17 - April 3, 2011 weekdays from 7:00 pm, and weekends from 1:00 pm.
