65 of our CEA Family travelled across the pond to a very cold (the coldest March in 27 years!) and not so sunny England, but that did not stop them from having the time of their lives and creating wonderful memories. Their first stop was in Bath, 45 minutes from Ms. Danella's hometown and where Jane Eyre spent many of her writing days. They were welcomed by the small town of Nailsea, where Ms. Danella grew up, and they put on a wonderful dance performance to celebrate Mother’s Day (different date to USA) and raise money for Cerebral Palsy. London was their next stop and it was packed full of sightseeing. Stonehenge, Buckingham Palace, Shakespeare’s Globe Theater, Westminster Abbey and too many things to mention. They enjoyed a spectacular performance of the Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House and 2 fantastic West End shows, Singing in the Rain and almost everyone’s favorite, Matilda. The dancers participated in dance workshops and were lucky enough to be able to watch a class of the Royal Ballet students.
They had a performance in Nailsea (Ms. Danella's hometown) on Sunday, March 10 which is their Mother's Day. It was a huge success. They also had the opportunity to participate in dance workshops and see a Royal Ballet class.
