This year the second grade presented the 37th Annual CEA Second Grade Nativity Play! One of CEA’s most beautiful and cherished traditions, the second grade play brings together the entire grade to collaborate on a production that celebrates the true meaning of Christmas. Students spend several weeks rehearsing, learning their songs in both English and Spanish, and experiencing the patience, discipline, and effort that it takes to create the magic we were able to see on stage! We are blessed to have an amazing second grade team: Mrs. Llerena, Ms. Estevez, and Mrs. Valhuerdi, who go above and beyond to direct the play and whose effort, dedication, and love make all the difference in the world.
We are also grateful to Ms. Yirka Ledón (music), Ms. Danella Bedford (dance), Dr. Kenia García Cabrera (dance), and Mrs. Lacayo (religion) for their invaluable contributions to the performance, as well as Ms. Tania Nuñez, music faculty and hall monitor, who was also the incredible seamstress for the production, and our many administrators and teachers who were backstage and supported in many ways!
