Hoop it Up is a one day basketball tournament, where teams will play a 3-game guarantee of half court games. Students in fifth through eighth grades put together teams of four (4) players to compete against each other on February 2. The day was perfect in every way. Mrs. Castillo outdid herself in the planning and organization. Our teams, comprised of students, families, and teachers, did a great job and displayed excellent sportsmanship, and the remaining spectators were the best possible cheerleaders for their peers! Plus, the halftime show by our seventh and eighth grade rock band, Justified, put the icing on the cake for a perfect “Conchita” way to spend the day.
