Family Affair has been a decades-long tradition at Conchita Espinosa Academy.
On Saturday, February 25, 2023, the CEA community came together to kick off our 90th Anniversary celebrations with a carnival style event, where families come together for games, rides, food, music concerts, dance performance, art exhibits, our 5th through 8th grade kickball games, annual alumni picture, and tons of fun.
The day was perfect in every way, from the gorgeous weather to the smiling faces of so many of our past and present students and families. The feeling of community, love, and joy was felt in every inch of the campus. Eileen Press (Madison’s mom, 8th grade) did an amazing job as chairperson for Family Affair. She was organized, calm, diligent, and, with the help of our many parent volunteers, worked to ensure everything ran smoothly.
Thank you to every single mom, dad, abuela, and abuelo who volunteered, whether grilling burgers, making popcorn, cotton candy, or snow cones, peeling corn, or selling beautiful hair accessories and tutus, each and every one of you made a difference in making this a memorable, beautiful, and fun event.
