Each year our Caring Cougars Junior Mastery organize the Halloween Costume Drive to benefit children in our local community who otherwise would not have access to a Halloween costume.
Throughout the month of October, we collected new and lightly used used Halloween costumes in all sizes. Students in the Caring Cougars Junior Mastery were responsible for creating fliers, promoting the collection, speaking to other students, collecting, and packing the costumes. With the support of our many families, we were able to collect 12 extra large bags of costumes! Thanks to the big hearts of our Caring Cougars and the example they show to their community, we hope there will be many happy children this Halloween! Thank you to Ms. White and Mrs. Batista for leading this effort to support the children at Miami Dade County Foster & Adoptive Parent Association this Halloween!
