Congratulations to three of our soccer teams, who finished their seasons victorious as league champions! Thank you to our amazing coaches, Jon Ordinola and Damian Fernandez for leading the CEA teams to victory and guiding them to continually grow in their game and their sportsmanship. The JV Soccer Team won the League Championship 2-1 against Greater Miami Adventist. It was a great overall team effort, with goals by Simon Mejia and David Rodriguez, as well as excellent defense by Fernando Genova, and a last-minute free kick that by Adrian Rial that saved the game!
The 4th & 5th Grade Soccer Team won their League Championship 3-2 against Pinecrest Prep with two goals by Alexey Leal and one by Sebastian Castrillon! The team had amazing plays by Joan Flores and Damian Toledo, and excellent goalkeeping by Christian Navarro.
The 1st & 2nd Grade Soccer Team won their League Championship against Highpoint. The game ended 4-4, and CEA won in penalty kicks 3-1. It was an amazing game with Adrian Briceño blocking two penalty kicks and scoring two goals! Damian Leal, Miguel Wagner, and Edgar Gonzalez also played a great game, and an overall team effort led them to victory!
