Dance, Religion, Español, Art, Music, and Sports
D.R.E.A.M.S. classes bring learning to life and inspire students to make valuable connections, grow in their creativity, approach tasks from different perspectives, think critically, communicate clearly, analyze and evaluate, work in collaboration.
DANCE – In Movement and Dance, students learn to move their bodies and develop a sense of spatial awareness, coordination, flexibility and strength, musicality and rhythm.
RELIGION – Religion classes address students’ spiritual identity and values. Religion classes follow a Catholic tradition. Sacrament formation is available.
ESPAÑOL – The Spanish program, Español Para la Vida, which is accredited by the Instituto Cervantes, enhances students’ ability to communicate clearly and develop fluency in a second language.
ART – In Visual Arts, students learn to see the world with fresh eyes and understand diverse perspectives, as they grow in their understanding of art history, culture, and their ability to express themselves through different art mediums.
MUSIC – In Music, students learn the international language of music and gain an appreciation of music by learning music history, reading music, and playing musical instruments.
SPORTS – P.E. and Fitness allow students to strengthen their bodies, understand the connection of body and mind, and learn the foundations of various sports.
Our DREAMS classes are at the core of our curriculum and are embedded into all aspects of life at CEA.
