Jennifer Bartolomeo

I am a proud graduate of Conchita. After CEA, I attended St. Brendan High School and then graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. In 2009, I moved to Ave Maria to marry my high school sweetheart and pursued my career in education. I was given a teaching position at Waves of Wonder Montessori School in Naples, Florida. Within several years, I had moved through all the classrooms as a teacher to eventually become the director. After spending a year working countless hours as the director and dedicating my time to making Waves of Wonder better for the community, the owner offered to sell the school to my husband and I. We became the proud parents of our son the same year. Nevertheless, we accepted and I have been the owner of Waves of Wonder Montessori School since June 2016. We gained such a wonderful reputation in our community that Cedar Montessori School (the oldest Montessori School in Naples, which was 30 years old at the time) reached out to me a year ago about purchasing their facility. In August, we moved to our new beautiful campus at Cedar with lots of room to grow! From the moment I bought WOWMS 4 years ago to now we have doubled our student enrollment. I have based a lot of my goals and wonderful opportunities for a well rounded education for my students on what I was taught at CEA. I thank Mrs. Diaz for being a wonderful example of what a Principal should be. I know I have a lot to learn but I am extremely thankful for having had the amazing role models to look up to during my years at CEA.
