The 2023 Scholastic Book Fair was a great success!
Choosing their own books empowers kids and inspires them to become bolder, prouder, and stronger readers. Every book they buy earned rewards for our school. Hosted by our Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Martinez, the book fair offers a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Your children will be visiting our book fair with their teacher.
This year’s book fair surpassed our schoolwide goal of $16,000 sold in books. This is testament not only to the tremendous job that Ms. Martinez has done as our Library Media Specialist, the dedication of our faculty and staff, but also to the culture of reading at CEA. Students were excited to purchase new books and share what they are reading with each other. Even today’s “last call” was packed! We are very grateful to our parents for encouraging reading at home, and for our joint effort in developing competent and enthusiastic readers and leaders!
