On October 18th, the Senior Dance Mastery, Senior Art Mastery, and National Junior Honor Society participated in Moving Day Miami Walk for Parkinson’s. Together with their teachers, Ms. Danella, Ms. Vazquez, and Ms. Julio, Team Conchita raised $17,757! This was our biggest total yet, surpassing our 10,000 goal by 177% and making CEA the top team for the entire event.
Many students raised over $500, and this year we had four “All Star Movers,” who raised $1,000 or more: Arella Wegner, Daniella Delgado, Emma Joudeh, and Isabella Moreno.
Isabella raised $2,730 and Emma raised $2,400, which also made the school record for most money raised by any individual on our team. They were also and were 4th and 6th for individual money raised in the whole event.
All of the students involved represented Conchita beautifully at the event. We are very proud!
