3rd Grade has been studying the lives of pioneers and westward expansion. They have planted vegetables, made butter, created their own toys - cornhusk dolls and paper dolls, learned to stitch, create patchwork quilts, built sod houses and a host of other things in this hands-on unit. Friday, April 1, was their day to share everything they've learned in a living museum and shared square dancing, fiddle playing and guitar serenades. Great job, Mrs. Lopez, Mrs. Licea and Mrs. Majors. And thank you to all of the parents who helped make the day a success!!!!
