Smart Screen Time for Kids

The phrase “screen time” often has negative associations. But recent studies have shown that screen time, when consumed properly, can actually have a very positive affect on children. It can help them learn, beef up their skills in reading, science, math, problem solving—you name it—and give them vital digital media savvy necessary for success in today’s media-saturated world. And a recent report in Pediatrics showed that good media choices can even help with social skills! The question is, how do you tell the difference between “good” and “bad” screen time?
