Congratulations to Our Dancers
Current and Former!

Stephanie Perez '12 - Congratulations to Stephanie Perez for being accepted to New World School of the Arts. Competition for places in New World's dance division is fierce. Stephanie was also the only one of our solos to earn platinum for her lyrical solo at the Cathy Roe and Starquest competitions.

Bianca Allanic '10 - Bianca is a sophomore at New World School of the Arts. She was chosen to participate in the American Ballet Theatre Summer Program and won a full scholoarship to the Sarasota Ballet. She'll be spending two weeks in Sarasota and the remainder of the summer in New York.

Harmony Jackson '10 - Harmony is a sophomore at New World School of the Arts. Harmony was accepted into Hubbard Street Dance in Chicago, Alvin Ailey in New York, and Dance Theatre of Harlem the Detroit Session for the summer. She will be attending the Dance Theatre of Harlem session in Detroit.

Gabriela Besada '08 - Gabriela is a senior at New World School of the Arts. She was chosen from 33 students to submit an application for YoungArts at New World and will be showcasing 2 pieces, one for the high school student choreography and one for the high school senior showcase. She has received a scholarship to the University of Miami, has been accepted to the University of Florida, Florida State University, and Washington University in St. Louis. She is still waiting to hear from seven other schools.

We are very proud of these girls who have continued to be excellent students who follow their passions.
