Welcome New Faculty!

Our technology program is going to be under the direction of Lynda Hastings. Mrs. Hastings is a full-time faculty member who will help guide us as we develop our technology plan, act as a resource for teachers and students and teach our middle school students the necessary lessons to be responsible digital citizens.

Carlota Castro (formerly 1st Grade) will be the teacher for our 3 year olds. Her gifts of patience, love, thoroughness, and experience along with her belief in our philosophy will give the children a wonderful foundation to start their years here at C.E.A.

Maria Sandoval will be the teacher’s aide in our K3 class. Mrs. Sandoval taught for 7 years in Nicaragua and has continued her educational training here in the US. Her caring spirit and cooperative attitude will be perfect for Mrs. Castro and our young 3 year-olds.

In 1st Grade we welcome Marialys Gruneiro. Mrs. Gruneiro has a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Special Education. She taught 2nd Grade in Broward County and will be a great addition to our 1st Grade team.

Hidalis Estevez (formerly 2nd Grade) decided to return to her Kindergarten roots as a K-4 teacher. Her artistic talents, creative spirit and joyous attitude will be a great fit in the kinder class.

Silvia Fernandez will join our faculty in 2nd Grade. Mrs. Fernandez has a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Reading. She has 11 years teaching experience including 2nd grade. We’re excited about the experience and knowledge she’ll bring to our students.
