After my graduation from Conchita Espinosa Academy, I went to LaSalle High School and then on to Miami-Dade College where I received an Associate in Arts degree. While still in school I taught myself how to use the Adobe design programs and began to create logos and advertising for friends and family. I soon built a client base which included Miami’s top nightclubs and several galleries.
In 1996 I decided to finally fulfill a lifelong dreams and move to New York City. During my twelve years there, I went on to become the Off-Air Art Director for Lifetime Television, responsible for all the advertising, digital and collateral work produced by the Network.
In 2008 I returned home to Miami and worked on several major motion pictures, including Rock of Ages, starring Tom Cruise, Step Up Revolution, and Pain & Gain, starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwaine “The Rock” Johnson.
Over the years, I have won 15 PromaxBDA Awards, the entertainment industry’s awards competition for excellence in media marketing, promotion, design, branding and interactive.
Today, I hold the position of Lead Designer at NBCUniversal/Telemundo.
I credit Conchita Espinosa Academy, not only for giving me a solid educational foundation, but more importantly for instilling in me a love for the arts and for allowing it to flourish. The faculty at CEA always led me to believe that I could be successful at whatever I wanted to do, and encouraged me to follow my dreams. For that I am truly grateful.
