Soccer Weekend -
January 26, 2013

This past Saturday our seven and under soccer team defeated All Angels Academy 1-0. Alejandro Vigil scored the only goal and Amin Pazos stopped all shots on goal for the second game in a row. Our fifth-grade soccer team defeated All Angels 5-0. Tomas Bayona scored two goals and assisted on two others. Daniel Comas, Jorge Morasso and Barbara Silva added goals. David Leiva stopped all goals in his first game as a goalie.

Soccer

Last Saturday all three soccer teams won their games. Alejandro Vigil scored three goals. Damian Fernandez added a fourth goal and Amin Pazos scored a shut out not allowing Highpoint Academy to score a goal. Our fourth grade soccer team defeated Divine Savior 5 to 0. Aiden Villasuso scored two goals. Nicolas Ruiz, Diego Garmendia, and Jorge Vigil also scored goals. Our fifth grade soccer team defeated Highpoint Academy 5 to 0. Thomas Bayona scored three goals. Michael Barany scored two goals, adn Jorge Morasso assisted on 3 goals. Katherine Marino pitched a shutout in goal in her first time ever as a goalie.

Our Varsity Cougar Soccer team had a 5-2-3 season and won the Greater Miami League Championship!
