Summer at CEA Intensives Performances

Summer at CEA Intensives closed with outstanding performances in Spanish Dance, Theatre and Music as well as a gallery walk through of projects completed in the Art Intensive. The stellar Spanish Dance performance included live music with Classical Spanish Dance, Escuela Bolera, and flamenco. The Music Intensive accompanied the Spanish dancers in their performance of La Leyenda del Beso. Then the music continued with a rocking program that highlighted a saxophone solo by Rafael Esparragoza and a guitar solo by Andy Sordo-Martinez. The prior evening the stage was lit up by the antics of actors who had learned pantomime, circus performance and theatre games. The audience was then treated to an original production by Erika Johnson highlighting the talents of the participating actors. The quality of the Intensives has continued to grow throughout the years. We are very proud of the teachers who organized and conducted them as well as they participants who spent a creative summer growing for the year to come.
