Alex Burgos

After graduating from CEA, I attended Belen, the University of Florida, and then embarked on a career in politics and public service. After working for the national GOP, a presidential campaign and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, I landed the job of a lifetime in mid-2009 as a spokesman for Marco Rubio's long shot U.S. Senate campaign, which ultimately prevailed.

Today, I am honored to serve him and the people of Florida as Communications Director in his Washington office. Through it all, CEA has remained near and dear to my heart, and I can see the school's impact in my life daily. Without a doubt, the foundation of my life and career was laid at CEA. And to this day, those years have given me some of my best memories, enduring friendships, and valuable life lessons that will stay with me forever.
