Natalia Mandrus (Medina)
My time at Conchita Espinosa Academy holds a special space in my heart. Many of my closest friendships began in the classrooms and playground of CEA. To this day, my friends and I often reminisce about the wonderful times we shared. At CEA, I learned the importance of hard work and determination. My teachers instilled in me a drive and thirst for knowledge that I still carry with me today.
After graduation, I attended high school at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart. I received my B.A. in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Miami in 2006. After college, I moved to Washington, D.C. to attend law school at American University. After law school, I worked at both the Department of Energy and the Department of the Interior, where my work mostly focused on government transparency. Currently, I am Associate General Counsel at the Inter-American Foundation, a small government agency that assists in grassroots development directly with the organized poor and disadvantaged in Latin America and the Caribbean. I got married in 2012 and currently live in Arlington, VA with my husband. I enjoy traveling and taking advantage of everything life has to offer.
My education at CEA allowed me to build the foundation of my career. I learned to dream big and encourage everyone to do the same, just like Conchita did when she started the school we all love.
