Brooke Silverang

Conchita Espinosa Academy led me in the direction of where I am today. I remember being in Mr. Companioni's 7th grade class and he had me reporting the lunch menu for "C-TV". This was the start of my passion to be "on air" and report. I went to La Salle High School where I participated in the school's television broadcasting program. I had always had a passion for weather and while I was in my first year in college and I made that my focus.

I received my degree in Meteorology at Florida State University in May 2014, with minors in Mathematics and Communications. Today, I am proud to say that I am finally settled in at my first job in Salisbury, Maryland as the Weekend Meteorologist. During the week I am a reporter. Thank you, CEA, for giving me the opportunity to develop my passion, which has now become my career.
