Yesterday I saw (and felt) magic on that Santa Fe College stage....
At school while in my pre-Socratic philosophy classes I was always taught that Chronos was time at its worst: schedules, agendas, watches, deadlines, alarm clocks, the responsible for making us old and decayed, where we have to speed to avoid getting lost or wasted, tedious routines...while Kairos was to be understood as time at its best: the transcendence, the sacred, the reverence and intimacy within time, where we revere space to enjoy ourselves and savor the beauty around us...
I learned that we live on the first always longing for the latter...and that this has been our sad dichotomy since the beginnings of time...
But Yesterday on that Santa Fe College stage I saw it!!!! I witnessed Chronos surrendering to Kairos...
Chronos in its relentless, repetitive, and immutable movements being "trespassed", before my eyes, by Kairos... with its inevitability of space transcending within the beauty of form and movement inherent in your impeccable choreography...
You did it, Ms. Danella!!! You made the (considered) impossible happen before my eyes...You made Chronos and Kairos into one !!! Pure perfection and dream come true on that Santa Fe College stage yesterday!!!
.... and for that I will be forever grateful...
Much love,
